New to Yoga?
Arriving to Class:
Try to arrive 10 minutes before class begins. Please remove your shoes before entering the studio. Sign in at desk. If you arrive late to class, please enter and sign in quietly.
Payment & Paperwork:
All new students must fill out a student health information sheet before your first class. We accept cash or checks made out to Now and Zen Yoga.
What to Bring:
All the necessary yoga mats and props are provided for you. Students are welcome to bring their own yoga mats to use. You may want to bring a bottle of water.
What to Wear:
Wear comfortable clothing that will not hinder movement. We practice in bare feet, but suggest that you bring socks to wear during the relaxation at the end of class.
Noise:
Please turn off all cell phones and beepers during class. If there is a class session ending, please wait quietly in the hallway until that class has ended.
Eating Before Class:
It is best to practice on an empty stomach. Since that is not always possible, it is suggested that if you must eat before class, make it a light meal or a snack.
Children:
We do not provide any childcare facilities at the studio.
